The opening ceremony of the excavation season was held today. The ceremony was attended by Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger, Mayor Zeydan Karalar, and city officials. Noting that important discoveries at Anawaza have begun to emerge, Kirschger said: “These are fertile lands that have been the center of human civilization. The city of Anawaza is an area where life has continued through many historical periods. It has witnessed many processes.
