KUWAIT CITY, August 6: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued a new directive requiring all employees to prominently display their work ID during official working hours, effective September 1. The circular, obtained by Al-Anba, states that employees without work IDs must submit a photo of themselves and a copy of their civil ID to the Ministry of Administrative Affairs.
According to a circular issued by Salah Khaled Al-Saqabi, Undersecretary of Finance and Administrative Affairs, each employee will be issued an identity document after notification to the relevant departments.
The directive stressed that employees must cooperate when security personnel ask them to produce their ID cards. Failure to comply will result in necessary action as the circular is aimed at improving organizational efficiency and compliance with bureau standards.
The move is part of CSC’s ongoing efforts to streamline work procedures and achieve its operational goals.
