The Avengers successfully extended their Olympic title. In the final held in Paris, the United States defeated the host France 98-87. The big man was Stephen Curry, who scored 24 points.

Curry then revived and hit a three-pointer to give the “Avengers” some breathing room. Durant then made two free throws to make the score 87-79. And “Chef Curry” wasn’t done yet. He hit three more three-pointers (eight total) with icy calmness into the net to help the United States win the Olympic basketball championship 98-87.
