National Army launches ‘Gran Mati 2024’ medical operation with US partners

The Suriname National Army, in collaboration with the U.S. Army and with the support of friends in the medical community, is organizing Operation Gran Mati 2024.

The operation will be carried out in the Pará region, in the areas of La Vigilantia and Powakka, from August 19 to 26, 2024. During this period, free basic medical, ophthalmic and dental care will be provided to the residents of these areas.

At the same time, the National Army also cooperated with the Youth Dental Care Foundation and friends in the medical community to hold free dental care activities at the Youth Dental Care Foundation outpatient department in the military hospital.
