Vinçens Sterkaj, 37, was caught and handcuffed when he strongly objected to the administrative measures taken by the police against him for wrongful parking and left.
Specialists of Shkodra’s Serious Crimes Department, in cooperation with the “Shqiponja” special forces and the Malësi e Madhe police department, arrested VS, 37 years old, a resident of the village of Dedaj.
In the city of Koplik, officers of the Order Police found a vehicle parked in a non-permitted place, obstructing the passage of other vehicles. While performing their duties of implementing administrative measures under the Highway Law, the driver of the vehicle, citizen VS, strongly objected to the officers and left. After a police check, citizen VS was arrested in his apartment.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Office of the Public Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Shkodra for further action in relation to the criminal offences of “opposing public order police” and “disobeying police orders”.
