The traditional summer festival “Friday Party” loved by the people of Panevěž will say goodbye next year.
There was no lack of fun, surprises and good mood at the closing ceremony of the festival in Laisvė Square.
It was created by actor Imantas Pilis, who wanted to get to know his city better by organizing tours “Panevežys has an Old Town”.
Artist Klaudija Mackevičiūtė presents the performance “Photographic Session, Masks”. Klaudija invites the audience to become participants in the performance, to break free from stereotypes and fears.
The Senvagė amphitheater was filled with the improvisations of multi-instrumentalist Egidijus Zelvars. E. Zelvar’s songs were born before the audience’s eyes in the form of present tense improvisations and he surprised us with his unexpected sound choices.
Talk Time host Žydrūnas Vainauskas interviewed performer Monika Linkytė, who was visiting Panevėžys. The performance of this talented singer was the highlight of the evening.
The Panevězh family and city guests are still waiting for the open-air cinema, where the documentary “Modern Apartment” (directed by D. Liškevičius) will be screened.
The floating fountain art project will begin at 22:30 in Senwaqi.
