Motorcyclist dies in Christ Church accident

televisionThe motorcyclist who died in the crash on Welches Road in Christchurch on Wednesday.

Police have identified him as Jamal Ramsay, 35, of Browns Gap, Sargents Village, Christchurch.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance after colliding with a Barbados Police Service vehicle.

Ramsay’s pillion passenger, Tishana Jamelia Ward, 22, of Husbands, St James, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
