London police say more than 50 people were arrested during the Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
Less than two minutes after the first whistle at Wembley Stadium, several people jumped over the railings and tried to enter the pitch. Two of them even succeeded and interrupted the game for several minutes until stewards managed to catch them and remove them from the field of play.
Despite special steel grilles being installed on the stands and pitch in the English capital, costing organisers more than £5 million, fans faced no difficulty gaining access to the ground.
Even before the match started, dozens of people were stopped at the entrance, trying to enter the stadium without proper tickets.
