“Due to the atmospheric instability caused by the presence of a low-pressure system in the coastal areas of the provinces of Inhambane and Sofala, the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts moderate to heavy rains (30 to 50 mm) on Wednesday and Thursday, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in the provinces of Gaza, Inhambane, Sofala and Manica.
For the provinces of Niassa, Cabo Delgado and Nampula, INAM predicts that the sky will change from lightly cloudy to cloudy in coastal areas, with the possibility of light rain; morning fog will occur, mainly in the highlands of the interior; weak to moderate winds will blow from southeast to east, with occasional gusty winds in coastal areas.
