Miramar launches relief effort for victims of Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean

In response to Hurricane Beryl’s devastating impact on the Caribbean islands, the City of Miramar is launching a major relief effort to support those affected. Starting today, residents are encouraged to donate essential supplies to help Caribbean residents get through this difficult time.

  • Fire Station #107: 11811 Miramar Avenue
  • Fire Station #84: 14801 SW 27th Street
  • Fire Station #100: 2800 SW 184th Avenue

Suggested items needed:

  • Waterproof cloth
  • sleeping bag
  • trash bag
  • Work Gloves and Boots
  • Non-perishable foods (such as canned meat, pasta, milk)
  • Personal care products (e.g. toiletries)
  • First aid kit

Important Note: No used clothing or linens are being accepted at this time.

Residents can begin donating starting Thursday, July 4, 2024. Your donation will provide much-needed relief to those struggling in the aftermath of the hurricane.
