From January 2025, the housing allowance for members of the armed forces will increase by an average of 200 euros. A proposal to introduce a stabilization and recruitment allowance of 5,000 euros was also announced. Justice Minister Boris Susko (Smer) and Interior Minister Matusz Sutaj-Estok (Hlas) informed about this at a press conference on Thursday. Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak (Smer) added that the changes should also affect soldiers.
