In the operations conducted in Malatya and Antalya based in Mersin against suspects who established organized criminal groups and conducted illegal online betting, 31 suspects suspected of allowing illegal betting on foreign betting sites to obtain improper profits were arrested. In the operations conducted in Adana, Mersin, Mardin, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Hatay and Karaman based in Malatya and Diyarbakır, 20 suspects were found to have deceived citizens and obtained improper profits by promoting “fake air conditioners and agricultural equipment sales” on social media platforms.

In addition, 5 luxury cars, a large amount of jewelry, 2 unlicensed pistols, 1 unlicensed shotgun, many computers, mobile phones, SIM cards and portable memory sticks, 460 debit/credit cards, 4,000 foreign currencies and Turkish lira were seized during the operation.
