Brescia arrives. The forty-second Freccia Rossa rerun ends with the arrival of the long line of cars that started on Tuesday in the Lombardy city. The journey, which takes more than two thousand kilometers, passes through charming Italian cities and stirs the passion for four-wheeled vehicles among people of all ages. From vintage cars from the pre-war period to “young” cars from the 1950s, they all leave traces of admiration and contemplation, bringing back childhood memories or arousing the curiosity of young people.
Stage 5, from Bologna to Brescia, was indeed exciting. Maybe it was the sun that warmed the day, or the beautiful scenery of the Po Valley and Lake Garda, but it did bring out the warmth that Italians and foreigners passed on as their cars passed through the city.
In Ferrara, Bovolone and Villafranca di Verona, long lines of people welcomed the cars. In Sirmione, Desenzano del Garda, Valternesi and Salò, there were hundreds of thousands of people. It was a unique arena, and the enthusiasm of the people was unforgettable as cars from all over drove by, even stopped on the side of the road or at gas stations. The parade seemed to celebrate the heroes, who had traveled more than two thousand kilometers in five days, 2,032.97 kilometers to be exact, starting from Brescia, passing through Turin, Viareggio, Rome and Bologna (and many other towns), before returning to the Lombard city.
Arriving at the platform on Brescia’s Viale Venezia, many pundits turned out to celebrate and praise the crew.
We would like to remind you that teams from 33 countries (Italy was the country with the largest number of participants) participated in this edition, with 71 cars participating in the historic 1000 Miglia speed race.

AMG GT 63 and AMG A45 S pill

They are both sporty and suitable for traveling. The two examples of the three-pointed star that we drove for more than 2,000 kilometers are both super sports cars and cars suitable for long-distance driving. The AMG GT 63 proved to be highly livable and with a trunk capacity of 321 liters, it can be regarded as a flagship model in this category. Despite its 421 horsepower, the AMG A45 S surprises with its ride comfort and fuel consumption measured on mixed routes (9.6 liters per 100 kilometers).
