Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) detained Russian FSB agents in nine cities who were searching for targets of aggressor drones and missiles.
Dismantling this network of agents will make it harder for the Russians to achieve the effects of such strikes, but is unlikely to reduce the frequency and scale of the attacks themselves. As has happened many times before, if the Russians cannot find or reach military objectives, they will attack civilian infrastructure and populated areas with impunity.
Tonight, Russia launched 24 Shahed drones to attack Ukrainian territory. All were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. Indeed, during the day, thunderous explosions occurred in Slavyansk and Konstantinovka (behind the lines of Ukrainian troops in the Chasiv Yar region).
Ukrainian military intelligence shared the latest satellite images of the Morozovsk military airport, which was attacked by the Ukrainians in recent days. It seems that in addition to the onboard bomb depot, the Ukrainians destroyed a Su34 bomber and damaged two other aircraft of this type.
To Kharkov
Vovchansk district. The fighting on the flanks has calmed down a bit, but it has not stopped. The Ukrainian defenders may regroup. Meanwhile, in the city itself, the battle for the “no man’s land” territory continues.
Luhansk direction
Kupyansk. The occupation army concentrated its forces on the northern flank. However, the reorganized Russians are likely to intensify operations in other areas in the near future.
Leman. Fierce fighting took place on the northern flank. Despite relentless Russian attacks, the Ukrainians held their ground.
Fighting continued in the Spirne region, with the occupiers failing to gain a foothold in Ivan Darzhivka and the western heights. Heavy fighting also took place in the Rozdolivka region.
To Donetsk
Chasiv Yar. In this city, the Russians continued their attempts to cross the canal and gain a foothold on its western side. The diversionary battle continued, with the Ukrainians holding their ground and looking for opportunities to counterattack.
Torreco stretches. The situation on the eastern flank is complicated. The Russians are bypassing the two Terricones and establishing positions west of the Pioneriu Road and the railway.
Pokrovsk-Vukhledar. Northern side. The invaders widened their wedge near Zeeland and tried to advance along the railway to Nikolayevka-Marinovka.

Ukrainian troops on the east bank of the Novoselyvka Perša – Jasnobrodivka continue to fight with the units of the Russian 90th Tank Division and do not retreat to the west bank. As experts have repeatedly mentioned, if the Russians advance from Zelany to Nikolaevka-Marinovka, or simply start an offensive to the southeast towards the Novoselyvka River, some Ukrainian units could be cut off.
Fighting continued in the northern outskirts of Krasnohorivka, with no significant changes in the line of contact.
Southern flank. Heavy fighting is taking place near Konstjantinivka, and the occupiers are trying to push on to other parts of the Vuhledaras – Konstjantinivka road. The situation is dynamic.
Zaporizhia and the southern direction – no changes.
