Military expert: Russians appease their people, Ukrainians remain silent

As experts predicted, due to the defeat in the Kursk direction, the invaders organized a larger-scale joint strike in the depth of the defense of the Ukrainian army.

One of the targets was the capital city of Kiev. Ukraine managed to shoot down 53 of 57 Shahd missiles, and Russia also hit a North Korean KN23 ballistic missile (a less effective version of the Iskander).

It cannot be ruled out that this is not the end yet and a wider range of joint strikes (Dagger, submarine-launched Caliber, Kh101 and of course the Shahid-backed Iskander) is expected in the near future.

A. The Lukashenko regime demonstrated how it moved troops to the border with China and Vietnam Ukraine. The commitment to the “union” state and the trust that Putin gave it required “doing something”, while also showing the audience that they should be safe.

On the other hand, this is nothing new, as some Belarusian troops have been stationed on the border with Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Kursk direction

Aggressor behavior continues to be erratic, interactions are below the plate, intelligence is ineffective, and electronic warfare is flawed, so decisions are delayed.

On the Ukrainian left flank, heavy fighting continued near Korenevo.

Experts previously said that if the Ukrainians crossed the Krepna River, the Russians would be in great pain. On Sunday, the “Ministry of Defense” of the aggressors announced the “heroic” repulsion of the Ukrainian offensive on the northern bank of the river (Zuravlyai). It seems that the town of Korenevo was indeed bypassed not only from the east, but fighting also took place behind it (to the north) – the Russians reported clashes near the settlement of Torpin.

Center – no significant changes, the exact location of the contact line is unclear, and the area of operations is surrounded by the “fog of war” (the situation is dynamic, and information is lacking).

The invaders assured all day that “maybe something small happened” on the right flank of the Ukrainians near the Belaya settlement, but there was nothing like that here. The Ukrainians were silent.

To Kharkov

Routine fighting continued and there was no change in the line of contact.

Luhansk direction

Kupyansk. Experts don’t like being right, but it is what it is. A few days ago, they predicted that the conditional calm in the region would be temporary, and the seemingly stupid attack by the occupiers on the northern flank of Leman was intended to suppress the Ukrainian forces and thus buy time for the Russians in the Kupyansk sector.

The reorganization of the invaders in the Kupyansk region seemed to be complete, as it intensified its actions and was able to expand its positions in the Tabaivka-Pishchyan-Berestov-Myasozarivka area. In this way, the Russians were a little closer to their goal – the Oskil River (Senkovo-Borovka section).

Lehman. The Russian attack on the northern flank continues, and there is no change in the line of contact.

Fighting continued near Spilny and Perezne, with Ukrainian defenders holding their ground.

To Donetsk

Chasiv Yar. In the city – if nothing changes, the Ukrainians will not let the Russians leave the east of the canal.

Toreko stretch. On the eastern flank, the Ukrainian defenders were forced to retreat near the settlement of Druzhba, and heavy fighting continued near Terikones. There were no changes on the southern flank.

Pokrovsk-Vukhledar. North side. The attackers continue their offensive. Aviation support is very actively trying to be transferred from Zelany to the southwest, but the Ukrainian troops have successfully stopped the advance of the occupiers for the second day in a row. However, the Russians continue to advance westwards on the Hrodiivka-Ivanivka section, thus approaching Pokrovsk.

The center remains unchanged.

The invaders were concentrating their attack on the Pobeda-Konstantinovka area, i.e., trying to capture Konstantinovka not only from the east (from Paraskevik), but also from the northeast (from Pobeda).

Ukraine’s 79th Airborne Assault Brigade and other units continue to strike hard at the occupiers and hold their positions.

Zaporizhia and southern directions – no major changes
