“As a nation, we are ready to contribute to everything that stands for values. Together with our allies, we reaffirm our commitment here, as always, to promote peace, stability and the rule of international law,” Mikolsky said.
The Prime Minister noted that “the Macedonian government wants us to stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies and affirm the liberal spirit of the Macedonian people and Macedonian citizens”.
“We remain committed to fulfilling our obligation to invest at least two percent of GDP in the modernization of our Army, which is very important because only in this way can we follow the steps of modernization and follow the existence of the largest world defense alliance ever,” Mikowski added.
He also expressed satisfaction at being present with leaders of other NATO member states to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the largest defense alliance in world history.
At the NATO summit in Washington, Mikoski led the Macedonian delegation that included Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister Timcho Muczuski, Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski and Interior Minister Pance Toshkovski.
