Two people were injured in a methane gas explosion at a mine belonging to the Ural Fertilizer Production Company in the Ural Mountains in Russia, Russia’s TASS news agency reported on Wednesday.
“We brought the workers to the surface,” the company was quoted as saying by TASS news agency.
The company later said it had put out the fire and was dealing with the damage, TASS reported.
