A young Palestinian who shot and wounded a compatriot and two Israelis in the occupied West Bank was killed today in an Israeli military operation.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the deceased was 18 years old. Reports from the Arab network said that 18-year-old Tarek Daoud was a member of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. In a photo he uploaded to the social networking platform, he was wearing camouflage and holding an assault rifle.
Violence in the occupied West Bank has been escalating since Israel began its military operation in the Gaza Strip, following an unprecedented attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7.
