A 44-year-old man was shot and killed in Pompano Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office The homicide squad said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding his murder.
On Monday, August 19, at approximately 4:44 p.m., BSO officers and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to a call of a shooting near 1500 NE 28th Street. At the scene, first responders located the victim, identified as Keith Bryan Poole, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to Broward Health North, where he was later pronounced deceased.
According to witnesses, Poole was standing outside the residence when a person he knew began firing shots. Detectives said the gunman fled the scene after the incident. BSO Crime Scene and Homicide detectives responded and are currently investigating the fatal shooting.
