oneA man from Christ Church died in a car accident on St Philip Six Road today.
Police have identified the deceased as Andre Mark Scott, of 58 Snapper Drive, Dolphin Park, Christchurch.
Officers from the C Zone police station arrived at the scene around 11:05 a.m. and found that a vehicle was involved in the accident.
According to police, the car
A passenger fell to the right after hitting the pavement and embankment. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance service personnel
The investigation is still ongoing.
