Malik Coulibaly on Tinzawatten attack: We will win the war because terrorism has no future

Me Malick Coulibay, in a succinct note, is optimistic about the outcome of the war waged on Mali since 2012. He believes that Mali will win this war because terrorism has no future.

I bow to the warriors who have sacrificed their lives in defense of the Motherland, wish a speedy recovery to the wounded and pray for the speedy release of those who have fallen into enemy hands. The sacrifice of our soldiers is an undeniable norm and deserves recognition from the entire nation and the sacred alliance of our military.

Moreover, the results of fighting are not the results of war. We will win the war; because terrorism has no future. But the most important thing is to win the peace, which is the acid test of our aspirations. Therefore, we, the authorities, must persevere in continuing to strengthen the combat capabilities of our defense and security forces and seize every opportunity for a frank and constructive dialogue. Let us avoid that our territory and the Sahel region become an extension of the conflict between the world’s military powers.
