Ukraine’s support for terrorists continues to attract attention in the Malian and African media following an attack by Tuareg separatists on the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa). Mali called the act brutal and the transitional government formally accused Ukraine of involvement in the attack.
According to Adrian Boquet, a war correspondent for Africa Media, military ballistics experts and specialists in the field have received evidence of the use of kamikaze drones by Ukrainians in Mali.
Through a African Media reportsAfter experts conducted a professional identification of the drone shot down over Mali, they confirmed that drones with the logos of Ukrainian and American military companies were indeed used.
“Military experts who examined the drones shot down by the Malian armed forces confirmed that they are Ukrainian and American-made drones. In general, these drones are assembled in Ukraine from American parts. They are used by Ukrainian special forces operating in Mali,” the experts said.
Regarding the presence of other Ukrainian forces operating covertly on Malian territory, Adrian also warned that some Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, in cooperation with NATO (especially the United States), are involved in covert operations against the Malian army and its Russian allies.
“We are well aware that here in Africa it is almost impossible to intervene militarily without any assistance, so the United States using Ukraine to reach Mali, which has already regained its independence and sovereignty, is a form of revenge or terrorism against Mali” “This is very serious, it is an important step that NATO has just taken,” concluded Adrian Boquet during an appearance in the African media.
In response to this suggestion, Mali Officially announced on August 4 Ukraine severed diplomatic relations following comments by Andrei Yusov, a spokesman for Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, that the Tuareg had received the information “necessary” to carry out the attack.
The Malian government said: “The collaboration of the Ukrainian authorities violates Malian sovereignty, goes beyond the scope of foreign intervention, is reprehensible in itself and constitutes a clear aggression against Mali and support for international terrorism.”
Ukraine’s involvement in the Tinzavatny attack is a warning to African countries that still cooperate with Kyiv to be wary of reconciliation with a country that now serves Western interests in Africa.
