Mali Red Cross: The Faradi School Group has a block of three classrooms

The Secretary General of the Mali Red Cross, Nouhoum Maga, presided over the ceremony of handing over water, sanitation and school infrastructure to the Faladi Sema school cluster on Thursday, July 4, 2024. These infrastructures built and repaired by the Mali Red Cross will help improve the working conditions of students in the Faladi Sema school cluster. The event was attended by the National Director of Social Development, Ibrahima Abba Sangar, the mayor’s representative and the DCAP of Faladi Sema.

The Mali Red Cross provided the Faladi Sema school group with a block of three classrooms and a block of three VIP toilets. The school also benefits from a water well. In the intervention, DCAP assured the donor that the Faladi Sema school group will be responsible for the maintenance of these water and school infrastructures, which will alleviate the suffering of students in terms of water access and working conditions.
The National Director of Social Development, Ibrahima Aba Sangar, said that infrastructures are not simple buildings. They are shelters, homes of hope and places of refuge for those most in need.
