At the same time, the city’s temperature rose, with the average temperature reaching 23.4°C, 0.6°C higher than normal. There were 32 hot days, in line with normal values, but only 26 cold days, 13 days less than normal.
Government spending on the environment reached nearly 2 billion patacas (US$248 million), more than 17% higher than 2022 spending, the bureau said.
