News from Angola – Angolan striker Cristóvão Paciência “Mabululu” signed a contract with Libya’s Al Ahli Tripoli on Wednesday worth 1.4 million euros (1 euro equals 969.49 kwanzas)
According to the information on the club’s official page, the contract is valid for the next two seasons (2024-25 and 2025-26).
The Angolan played for Alexandria Al Ittihad and scored 45 goals in 89 games.
He became the top scorer of the “Egyptian Premier League” with 16 goals and was elected the best foreign player in Egypt in 2023.
The 32-year-old graduated from Luanda Petroleum and left for good in 2015.
In Angola, he has represented clubs such as Recreativo do Libolo (2013), Interclube (2016), ASA (2017), Domant FC (2018) and 1.º de Agosto (2019-2021).
In 2015, he won the Supertaça title with the “Tricolore” and in the 2018-19 season he won the “Girabola” National Championship and the Angolan Cup with 1.° de Agosto.
During the African Nations Championship (CAN’2023) in Côte d’Ivoire, he performed well for Palancas Negras (national team), scoring three goals.
