Lisette Böttker reached the semifinals of the -53 kg women’s wrestling at the U-17 age group championships in Amman, Jordan, winning three matches and will compete for the bronze medal on Friday.
In the first round, Botek defeated Serbian wrestler Ivana Gajic 14: 3. In the round of 16, the Estonian wrestler defeated Georgian wrestler Lisa Šavadze 7: 2, and in the quarterfinals, the Estonian wrestler defeated Ukrainian wrestler Ivanna Lukianenko, whom she lost to in the U-17 EC consolation match two months ago, 5: 3.

Polina Timšina played only one match at the tournament, losing 0:8 in the first round of the -40 kg category to the American Francesca Gusfa.
