The transcendence of education comes from the quality of education.
According to Article 2 of the General Education Act of 1994, it is essential and important to recognize that education is the responsibility of three fundamental subjects in the development of a quality process: the state, the family and society.
I think that with this introduction it is enough to make people aware of a healthy proposal with a sense of belonging, development, progress and peace, because peace is achieved through the joint efforts of the collective, development is achieved through the integral formation of the education of the people, without education there is no progress, progress depends on the good citizenship and moral principles of our leaders when they are our leaders and/or public servants. In this sense, the community of Curillo and the entire Caquetá community know that the Liberator Education Center is planning to develop a quality education process that will produce a competitive model that starts with innovation, taking into account the mission and vision of the Education Center, we focus on the educational transformation of Curillo, the Secretary of Education allowed us to build a new school in the city of Curillo, a rural area but with great prospects, connecting all the boys and girls who in some way cannot be taken care of in other institutions in the area.
There are currently 125 boys and girls from pre-school to sixth grade at the headquarters, with the important collaboration of five professional teachers with tutoring experience.
We also received important support from the municipal and provincial governments in our efforts to actually build a new school for Curillo and provide services to the residents of the area whose children are less likely to receive an academic education.
Furthermore, if we could build in the near future a mixed dormitory that could accommodate at least 300 students from Monday to Friday, we would save more than 100 students who found other possibilities in the neighboring province of Putumayo, arriving at boarding. The schools have everything they need to study in economic conditions that make us lose more than 100 million pesos per capita per year in the department because we do not have the tools to compete. The importance of boarding schools is emphasized as a strategy, since this is a border area with provinces such as Cauca and Putumayo, as well as other nearby municipalities such as Albania, Valparaiso and Solita, and children, far away from their municipal capital, are enrolled in these Putumayo schools, and why? Curillo cannot offer the same service and generate competition at the regional level, in the interest of the entire department, especially boys and girls at tiers 0 and 1.
The actual construction of 6 classrooms, sanitary batteries, system rooms and administrative facilities is imminent as the goal is to provide admission places for about 300 boys and girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 with the support of the government, municipality and departmental level and national level. Finally, it was pointed out that there is an urgent need for a school bus in order to provide comfortable and adequate transportation for children; currently, 100 children are being transferred from pre-school to grade 6.
