According to Le Parisien, the founder of Telegram said this at the first hearing
Telegram founder Pavel Durov flew to France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, according to Paris newspaper Le Canard Chainé.
He referred to “sources at the Elysee Palace”.
He said Durov said during police questioning that the French president had invited him to a “joint dinner.” Despite this, he was arrested at the airport.
So far, neither Macron nor his cabinet has commented on this information.
Konstantin Klimenko, president of the Eurasian International University, nominated Durov for the Nobel Prize.
He stressed that he was “an outstanding individual who deserves the highest recognition”.
