One of the services where governance issues persist despite Guinea’s dissuasive measures is the Guinean Agency for the Promotion of Employment (AGUIPE), as evidenced by the legal troubles its managing director and its financial services have reportedly faced in recent weeks.
According to well-informed sources, Mohammed Aribot and his associates are being tried directly, even though, when contacted by Guineenews, the person in charge insisted that “there is no indictment” and that “the file is under investigation”.
