Kuwait City, August 11: Abdullah Border Security arrested a Gulf citizen arriving from Iraq who was wanted by Interpol and is set to be sentenced to 38 years of judicial imprisonment.
The traveler attempted to enter Port Abdullah but when he realized his entry visa had expired, he decided to return to Iraq. However, upon arriving at the port on Friday and undergoing a routine check, authorities discovered a pending judicial decision against him.
Kuwaiti security services quickly coordinated with their Gulf counterparts to repatriate the traveller, in line with Gulf security protocols for the transfer of individuals under arrest warrants and judicial sentences.
