Khari Gonzalves and Keyana Warner to attend Tropical Shipping 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Conference

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): On September 5, 2024, St. Kitts and Nevis will send St. Kitts Junior Tourism Minister Khari Gonsalves and Nevis Junior Tourism Minister Keyana Warner to represent St. Kitts and Nevis at the Tropical Shipping 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Conference in the Cayman Islands.

Warner and Gonsalves will have the opportunity to network, explore different aspects of the tourism market, and add their voices to discussions about the future direction of Caribbean tourism.

Representatives of St. Kitts and Nevis will join about 14 delegates from different Caribbean Tourism Organization member countries for a thought-provoking discussion, where one of the ambassadors may become the regional Youth Minister for Tourism.

The event will be chaired by the 2023 Regional Tourism Youth Conference winner, Naomi Onwufuju of the British Virgin Islands.

Khari Gonsalves is a student at Basseterre High School and Keyana Warner is a student at Charleston Middle School.

The Tropical Shipping 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Conference is part of the State of the Tourism Industry Conference held from September 2 to 6. The theme of the conference is “Caribbean Tourism Powering Our Lifeline and Recognizing the Key Contribution Tourism Makes to the Survival, Development and Prosperity of All Our Member Regions.”
