From September 2 to 8, the Kazakh National Drama Theater named after Mukhtar Auezov will tour Uzbekistan, the theater administration told Gazeta.uz.

The performances will be held at the Tashkent State Musical Comedy (Opera) Theater from September 2 to 4. From September 6 to 8, the Kazakh troupe will perform on the stage of the Karakalpak State Academic Music Theater named after Berdak in Nukus.

The tour is held within the framework of the Memorandum of Cultural Cooperation between the Uzbek National Theater of Musical Comedy (Opera) and the Kazakh National Drama Theater. For the first time, the Opera Theater will host a tour of the theater named after Mukhtar Auezov.

From September 2 to 9, the exhibition of the Union of Theater Arts of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be held on tour. You can visit the exhibition before the start of the installation work.

  • September 2, 19:00 – “Kazi Korpesh – Bayan sulu” (a love story in two acts, author – Gabit Musrepov);

  • September 3, 19:00 – “Korqittin Curry” (legend, author – Iran-Gayip);

  • September 4, 19:00 – “Kirmanbai’s wedding” (comedy, author – Tinimbai Nurmaganbetov).

Nukus, Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater named after Alakosa Beldak, 1:

  • September 6, 19:00 – “Girl-Zhibek” (musical, author – Gabit Musrepov);

  • September 7, 19:00 – “Do not be separated from your loved ones!” (play by Alexander Volodin);

  • September 8, 19:00 – “In the name of love” (play, author – Saule Doszhanova).
