Bakhtiyor Ibragimov has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan. Previously, he served as Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.
The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyar Ibragimov arrived in the capital of Kazakhstan today. Reporting “World” AA.
The new Uzbek ambassador is 51 years old and graduated from Tashkent State Oriental University and Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.
In 1994, he started his career in the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan (now the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade). He served as a leader, chief expert, assistant to the Minister, and head of the General Department. In 2001, he was assigned to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States as a first secretary and later as an advisor on trade and economic issues.
After returning from his mission, he worked as a branch manager in the Economic Structure Department of the Cabinet’s Ministry of External Economic Relations, Investment and Trade.
He served as Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates from 2019 to 2022. He also served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.
Bakhtiyor Ibragimov was Ambassador to Kazakhstan from 2018 to 2024 Serdikrom Nyozodzhayev But appointed.
