Kabul (Pajhwok): The Kankor examination process has been completed in five phases this year and the last phase ended today (Friday), an official said.
A total of 1 lakh candidates appeared for the Kankor examination, out of which 75,500 successful candidates will be admitted to different universities and higher education institutions.
Maulavi Abdul Baki Haqqani, director of the National Examination Authority of Afghanistan, said at a rally at Kabul University that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to providing more convenience for the country’s young people.
In his message to the candidates who failed the examination, he said those who failed to score the expected result should not be disappointed but prepare well for the examination next year.
At the same time, some Kankor exam candidates have demanded more opportunities for higher education and fewer Kankor exam questions.
Ahmad Musaddiq, one of the candidates, was happy with the transparency of the Kankor exam and said 160 questions were too many and should be reduced.
