Vice President Kamala Harris failed to win Rising support A new poll shows the 2024 race is largely unchanged after the Democratic Party met four days after the Democratic National Convention.

Langer noted that his poll also found that Trump “didn’t see any volatility” after the Republican National Convention in July, which he said showed the “lock-in nature” of the race.
Polls after the Democratic National Convention found Harris’ lead among female voters expanded to 13 percentage points, reaching as high as 6 percentage points.
However, the vice president lost support among men.
The poll found that before the Democratic National Convention, men supported Harris by 3 points (49%-46%), but now they support Trump by 5 points (46%-51%).
On these issues, voters still trust Trump more than Harris to handle the economy (an increase of 8 points), inflation (an increase of 8 points), immigration (an increase of 9 points), and the Israel-Hamas war (an increase of 7 points).
Voters believe the Democratic candidate is more capable than Trump at addressing health care (by 10 points), protecting democracy (by 7 points) and combating gun violence (by 6 points).
In addition, 46% of voters are willing to believe that Harris, who has been labeled a Marxist by Trump, is “too liberal” and unfit to be president, while 43% of voters are willing to believe that Trump is “too conservative.”
The ABC News/Ipsos poll was conducted Aug. 23-27 and has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
