Chechen republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov has invited Tesla CEO Ilon Musk to Russia after he filmed himself driving a Tesla Cybertruck equipped with a machine gun.
In a video posted on Kadyrov’s Telegram channel, he can be seen driving a stainless steel Cybertruck and then standing behind a machine gun mounted on the truck’s trailer.
Kadyrov also took the opportunity to invite Musk to come to Chechnya.
“I don’t think the Russian Foreign Ministry would mind such a visit,” he said.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the ruler of the Russian Federation’s Chechen Republic, described the car as “undoubtedly one of the best cars in the world. I really fell in love,” he said.
He added that he would donate the vehicle to Russian troops fighting in Ukraine. “It’s not for nothing that they call it the cyber beast,” he said. “I’m sure this beast will bring a lot of benefits to our troops.”
Kadyrov, who is under U.S. sanctions for his links to multiple human rights violations, said he received the truck from Musk himself, although this has not been independently confirmed.
