The Guinean Football Federation (FGF) informs public opinion, Syli National supporters and all partners that the cooperation with the Syli A national team coach, Mr. Kaba, and all his technical staff has been terminated.

The decision was made because the sporting objectives stipulated in the contract were not achieved.

The goal initially assigned to the outgoing staff was to push the Scilly National A team into the top ten African nations in the FIFA rankings within a two-year evaluation period.
Unfortunately, this goal was not achieved, leading to the need for a strategic adjustment.
In order to guarantee an effective transition and ensure continuity in preparations for the next term, it was decided to establish a Transition Committee to be responsible for the technical management of Syli A.
The committee will last until at least November 2024, the period when the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) are concluded.

The committee will be supervised by the National Technical Director (DTN) and coordinated by Mr. Michel Dussuyer, former Scilly national team coach, a well-known figure in the football world with extensive experience and reputation.
His in-depth knowledge of African football and his past experience as national team president constitutes a great asset during this transition period.

The board will also include Mr Charles Pacquier, former assistant national team coach, who will take on a coaching role.
His close relationship with the players and understanding of the internal dynamics of the team are crucial to maintaining team cohesion and performance.
Mr. Souleymane Camara, current Syli local players coach, will also join the board as an assistant to Mr. Charles Paquille, bringing his expertise and knowledge of local talent which will further strengthen the connection between overseas players and those in the country.
The Guinean Football Federation is confident that this transitional committee will be able to maximize the potential of the talent we have selected while providing the necessary new impetus to achieve the ambitious sporting goals we have set for ourselves.

We call on all supporters and partners to support this new team’s mission to take Syli National to new heights.
