American R&B and EDM singer Jason Derulo meets members of the media ahead of his concert tomorrow as part of the Istanbul Music Festival.
“We made very special preparations”
Derulo said he is preparing one of the best performances of his career for tomorrow’s concert, saying: “I have very talented musicians and dancers in my team. Together we have prepared something very special for the Istanbul concert. As for how he has stayed sharp throughout his dozen-year music career, Derulo said: “I always have a desire to do better at my job. I’m never completely satisfied with the work I do. “There’s something about this role that makes you feel incomplete, and you’re constantly wanting to learn new things,” he said.
Speaking about the human tragedies happening in the world, Derulo said, “I share the pain of everyone who suffers from war and oppression, both internally and externally, wherever they are in the world. Every day when I turn on the TV, all I see is bad things. “I’m a person who believes in the healing power of music. ” “No matter what, I’m proud that the music I create is a part of people’s happiness,” he shared.
“I also find Turkish music very authentic”
Derulo said that he had performed in Turkey many times before. When talking about his impression of Turkey, Derulo said: “My favorite and most memorable thing has always been Turkish breakfast. I have never seen any country in the world that attaches so much importance to Turkish breakfast. “In addition, I also think that Turkish music is very authentic. ” “I think it is very enjoyable, and I hope to add Turkish music elements to some of my future projects to surprise people,” he said.
Regarding the changes in the music industry from the past to the present, Derulo said, “The music industry, like everything else, is also changing and evolving. If I say that music has deteriorated and is not the same as before, I would give it a thumbs up. I don’t want to say that.
