St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Jaheem Nisbett, a resident of Upper Tibou Avenue, McKnight, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for possession of firearms and ammunition.
The sentence was handed down by Basseterre A District Court Judge Reynold Benjamin.
The conviction was related to an incident on Sept. 23, 2023, when law enforcement officers found a Glock 23 pistol and ten rounds of .40 caliber ammunition on Nisbett in Lower Prickley Pear Alley in Basseterre.
Nisbet pleaded guilty to the charges and will serve his sentence at His Majesty’s Prison.
