Jabara was killed at 6:30 this morning when an enemy drone targeted his car, a Dodge pickup truck, with a missile on the road leading to the town of Gaza, tearing its chassis apart.

“May God have mercy on the martyr of the Islamic group Dawn Force, Mohammed Jabara, who gave blood and martyrs to the Bekaa neighboring Gaza and Palestine. From the Lebanese town of Qaraoun,” the Dawn Force said in a brief statement.

The Lebanese Islamic Organization confirmed that this crime would not prevent it from defending the land and people of the south and supporting the Palestinian people.

Activists circulated video footage shot by a surveillance camera at a store in the Western Bekaa, showing the moment the car was targeted by an Israeli drone.

The Islamic organization affirmed that it “will continue to fight against the Zionist enemy and support the Palestinian people” at the funeral of two martyred leaders, Musab Sayyid Khalaf and Bilal Mohammed Khalaf, held in Acre on April 28 last year in northern Lebanon.

Hamad Hamid Jabara was one of the officers of the Al-Fajr unit affiliated with the Islamist group, according to international media reports seen by Al-Sumaria News.

After Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982, the Fajr Forces were formed by young men belonging to Islamist groups, an offshoot of the Lebanese Brotherhood. These forces also claimed responsibility for many attacks against Israel after the October 1982 attacks.
