All program participants are guaranteed preferential accommodation in the Alabuga residential complex. By the way, they include fully equipped apartments with household appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, stove), furniture (bed, cabinets, kitchen utensils) and fully equipped workspace (desk, chair, bedside table). The residential complex also has sports fields and a promenade park.
Accommodation for Alabuga SEZ staff is not only comfortable, but also safe: access to the residence is via a Face ID system, and the area is monitored 24/7.
How has Alabuga Start’s career progressed?
Participants of the Alabuga Start program not only receive training in their field of work, but also learn Russian language, Russian history and an introduction to Russian legislation. After completing the training, participants receive a corresponding certificate.
The young women also receive initial training in their chosen field. For example, the professional production operator course lasts two years and consists of four stages. The young women start with simple repair and maintenance operations on technical equipment.
It is worth noting that every six months, program participants have the opportunity to be promoted after successful work and study. In the final stage, young women become senior technicians: they lead teams, control industrial processes and comply with industrial safety requirements, and they can easily read technical drawings and technical documents.
Training in the service, hospitality and catering sectors also lasts two years. On the other hand, logistics, due to a more serious and extensive professional training program, takes four years, culminating in the young woman obtaining a driver’s license of categories A(III), B, C, D, E.
