In a letter to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Pezeshkian stressed the need to strengthen Iran-Kyrgyzstan relations in the interests of both countries.
He said expanding ties with neighboring and regional countries would be a top priority of his government’s foreign policy.
The Iranian president sent separate letters to Malaysian Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Sultan Iskandar and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to congratulate Malaysia on its National Day and expressed his belief that the brotherly relations between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur will strengthen unity among Muslims.
