Police reported at 1:50 a.m. that emergency services had responded to the fire. Explosions and smoke were reported at the scene. When emergency services arrived at the scene, they reported that the barn was on fire.
– Innlandet Police District Operations Manager Sidsel Mellerud Svarstad told NTB that there were no animals in the barn.
She said there were no explosives in the barn and they did not know what caused the blast. Svalstad said the barn should not be used for everyday purposes.
At 2:09 a.m., the Innlandet Police District notified firefighters that they were working to prevent the outbreak from spreading to outbuildings and nearby residences. Someone living on the farm reported the fire.
