According to the Chui District Police Station, in the Alamudun area, a citizen died after jumping off a cliff in the Chunkurchak Canyon and the owner of the Flajump Sports Complex was detained.
According to the police, citizen BA, born in 1985, died on the spot when the cable car malfunctioned while jumping off a cliff at the Flajump Sports Center opposite the village of Tatir at around 13:30 today.
This fact has been registered at the Alamudun district police station and preliminary investigation procedures have been initiated.
Based on the collected materials and statements of the victim’s relatives, a criminal case was filed under article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (danger to consumers).
Following measures taken by the police, citizen NA was detained on suspicion of committing the crime in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Law. Born in 1996, he was detained in a temporary detention center.
At present, appropriate inspections have been designated and necessary investigative actions are being carried out.
