Kelly Anthony Douce, 41, of Pointe-aux-Piments, was attacked and killed. He was taken to the SSRN hospital in Pamplemousses by his relatives after they found him unconscious nearby on Sunday afternoon, August 25. Unfortunately, the doctor on duty had to declare him dead. An autopsy must be performed this Monday.
The victim’s brother told police that he was sleeping when his wife reported that Kelly Anthony Duce was attacked on an unused piece of land near the house. When he went to check, he found his brother injured and unconscious. According to witnesses, the attacker fled on a motorcycle. Trou aux Biches Criminal Police and the Field Intelligence Office arrested a man who admitted to having an argument with the victim.
