Parents or guardians do not need to complete a child’s S-EBT food stamp application. Children attending public schools and non-DOE regulated schools (returning to school) must first be approved by the Department of Education (DOE) and the child’s parent or guardian’s name must also be approved on this list.
A parent or guardian must submit a photo ID to confirm the name of the child enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year and is necessary in order to obtain a special ID for S-EBT. An S-EBT ID is required to pick up and use food stamps at any ASNAP-approved store.
