The incident began at 11:30 last night when a car bomb planted at the Gush Etzion intersection near a gas station exploded. A military and civilian force was sent to the scene and found a burning vehicle with a terrorist next to it, who was killed and subdued. Shrapnel fired by our troops injured three people: a brigadier general, a staff officer and a civilian security officer.
A quarter of an hour later, at 11:45 p.m., another vehicle broke through a roadblock in the village of Karmi Tzur, almost running over a security guard. A settlement patrol car, defined as a hero by the IDF, jumped on the scene and destroyed it, while being hit by the airbag inside the car, and a short time later, the car bomb exploded. No one was hurt.
