Israeli special forces rescued a hostage held by Hamas in a tunnel in southern Gaza on Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Qaid Farhan Alkadi, 52, who was kidnapped by the terrorist group on October 7, was found in a tunnel in Mahrat during a “complex rescue operation”. The Israeli military said.
The military said Arkadi was rescued by soldiers from the IDF’s 13th Fleet’s 401st Brigade, as well as Yaram and Shin Bet fighters.
