Hashid Net – Imran:
Yesterday, Houthi militias kidnapped three female artists in Amran province, north of Sana’a, while they were performing at a wedding of a woman in the province.
Sources familiar with the matter explained that the Houthis intercepted the three artists as they were trying to return to Sana’a after attending a women’s wedding in Amran with their mother.
The Houthi militia kidnapped the female artists and moved them to an unknown destination despite their written promise not to sing in Amran again.
Houthi militias committed serious violations against Yemeni male and female artists participating in wedding celebrations in Amran, Sana’a and other areas under the group’s control.
The Houthi militias are carrying out a campaign of kidnappings and arrests under the pretext of preventing singing and banning singing at weddings and events, following the example of what the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda have done in some areas they control, such as Iraq, Syria, Somalia and Afghanistan, at the behest of the Iranian regime.
