While many people are enjoying midsummer and the holidays, actors, directors and other film professionals are hard at work – one of the jobs is the new comedy series “Slice of Paradise”, which was screened for the first time last week. Summer evenings are also filled with several concerts – from the special magic of sunsets in the sound of the Vecāki organ to the “Positivus” festival in Lucavsala. On Friday, July 19, at the “Pūt, vējiņi!” Concert Garden in Liepāja, singer Kristine Prauliņa and the band “The Soulful Crew” brought rich emotions to the audience with soulful and frivolous soul music. , but also with playful music from the 80s jazz-rock era, the band used to “remix” music by Uldis Marhilevičs and Aivars Hermanis. Together with the Latvian Radio Big Band, the legendary musicians played these hit instruments in a special big band arrangement. During the concert, Kristine Praulina also announced the premiere of a performance specially for Liepāja.
